WebhookVault vs Svix

Mostly different jobs, so this comparison is about what each is for. Svix's main product, Dispatch, sends webhooks: it gives your product signed, retried outbound webhooks and a portal for your customers. WebhookVault receives the webhooks your providers send you, keeps every one, and forwards, replays and watches them. The overlap is Svix Ingest, its receiving product, included on every Svix plan.

When Svix is the right choice

You are the one sending. If your product has to deliver webhooks to its own customers, Dispatch is built for exactly that, and WebhookVault does not do it at all. Svix is also ahead when you need data held in a particular region, a self-hosted option or a contractual uptime figure.

When WebhookVault is the right choice

You are the one receiving, and the record matters: last quarter's webhook findable by the order ID inside it, a verdict kept on every request, an alarm the day a provider goes quiet, and a bill that does not move with your traffic. A year of history is $15 a month.

They fit together

Plenty of providers sign their webhooks the Svix way, with Standard Webhooks headers; Clerk and Resend are two. WebhookVault's Standard Webhooks preset verifies those, so a team that sends with Svix and receives with WebhookVault checks one signature scheme in both directions.
