Payments
Clear rules, quick answers
Last updated September 6, 2026. The Free plan has no charges and nothing here applies to it.
Who charges you
Paddle is the merchant of record for every WebhookVault purchase: it takes the payment, collects the applicable tax, issues the receipt and processes refunds. The charge appears on your statement under PADDLE.NET. Refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method; WebhookVault decides whether a request falls under this policy, and Paddle may also grant or decline a refund under its own policy.
The first payment: 14 days
If WebhookVault is not what you needed, ask within 14 days of the first payment on a new subscription and it is refunded in full. No reason is required. This applies once per customer; it is a way to try the paid plans without risk, not a recurring allowance.
Renewals
Monthly plans renew automatically until cancelled, and renewal payments are not refunded. To stop the next charge, cancel from the Billing page before the renewal date; the plan keeps working to the end of the paid period. Two situations are refunded in full, reported within 14 days of the charge:
- a duplicate or mistaken charge;
- a renewal charged during an outage on our side that kept you from using the paid features for a substantial part of the period.
Cancelling and downgrading
Both take effect at the end of the paid period. There are no prorated refunds for unused time; you keep what you paid for until the period ends. Upgrades charge the prorated difference at once and are not reversed by a later downgrade.
After a refund
When a refund is approved the subscription ends and the workspace returns to the Free plan immediately. Captured deliveries above the Free limits stay readable for 14 days, then the oldest are evicted first, exactly as on any downgrade. Export anything you need before then.
Your statutory rights
Consumers in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland may withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. Because access to the paid features starts the moment you pay, that right ends once you begin using them, as agreed at checkout; the 14-day first-payment refund above covers the same ground without the condition. Similar rights exist in other countries and Paddle's refund policy sets out each one. Nothing on this page reduces a right the law gives you.
How to ask
Send a request from the contact page with the subject set to billing, the email on the account, and the Paddle receipt or transaction id. Replies usually land within one business day. You can also ask Paddle directly at paddle.net. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 14 days of approval; your bank may take a few more days to show it. Tax charged on the payment is refunded with it.
Chargebacks
Ask before disputing. Every request under this policy gets an answer, and a chargeback raised on a payment that was already refunded, or that this policy would have refunded, only slows things down and can suspend the workspace while it is resolved.
